As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and care of surgical patients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and monitoring the physical status of patients
- Collecting and recording necessary data for patient care planning
- Listening actively to patients and providing appropriate responses
- Identifying necessary interventions for expected surgical outcomes
- Anticipating potential problems and adapting to surgical procedures
- Maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the availability of equipment and supplies
- Evaluating nursing interventions and reassessing patient status
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- State of California Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of two years experience in operating room
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
