About the Role
Cone Health is seeking an enthusiastic Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Western Rockingham Family Medicine practice, serving patients in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan, including wellness and preventive services, acute care, and chronic disease management. Working within a collaborative, team-based environment, you will perform detailed histories and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans. You will prescribe medications and therapies consistent with your scope of practice, provide preventive screenings and immunizations, and offer clear patient and family education to support long-term health and self-management.

As part of our Western Rockingham Family Medicine team, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and other health professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care and an excellent patient experience. You will document all encounters in the Electronic Health Record in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards and participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives that advance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
