Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract
About the Role
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in San Roman, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while exploring the Bay Area region.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Home Health experience preferred but not required. New graduates welcome.
- Willingness to travel within an assigned county territory covering Area #1 (Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Union City) and either Area #2 (Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont) or Area #3 (San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Sunol, Livermore).
- Ability and willingness to travel outside the primary area or work weekends if required to meet weekly visit expectations.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations when working under a guaranteed-hours option: complete at least 27 points per week and at least 30 points in the week to maintain a 36-hour guarantee (guarantee exclusions apply for first and last week, holidays, and approved time off). This is a client-specific requirement.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for patient visits in a home health setting.

- Assignment Length: 26 weeks.
- Territory: Assigned county territory covering Area #1 and either Area #2 or Area #3 as described above.
- Floating: Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned territory to serve patient needs.
