Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

About the Role
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active New York State Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with facility and state regulations. Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and safe patient handling preferred. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff. Willingness to comply with facility-specific orientation and required training prior to or upon start.

The area has a quiet, small-city lifestyle with college-town energy from nearby SUNY Oswego, local dining along the riverfront, and ferry and port access that supports boating and lakefront recreation within short driving distances.
