Occupational Therapist - Home Care - Part-time

Altru Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking a compassionate and patient-centered Occupational Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients across a variety of acute and post-acute settings, helping individuals regain function, maximize independence, and improve quality of life following illness, injury, or surgery. Working within a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, establish functional, measurable goals, and deliver therapeutic interventions that address activities of daily living, upper extremity function, cognitive and perceptual skills, and functional mobility. You will educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and use of assistive devices, while coordinating care and discharge planning with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals.
