Occupational Therapist Assistant - Part Time

26/27 School Year | $35-$40/hour | Full-Time | North Chicago, IL | State OTA License Required   As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with Point Quest Group, you’ll provide hands-on, supportive therapy services to students —helping them build the functional skills they need to succeed in the classroom and in daily life. Working under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s IEP or care plan, track progress, and adjust support strategies to meet evolving needs. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families while maintaining clear, compliant documentation. Regular caseload check-ins and clinical consultation from in-house Directors who carry no caseloads · Local office support with the resources of a national organization · CEU, license, and tuition reimbursement · Medical, dental, and vision insurance + 401(k) with company match · Spread pay option, paid sick time, and life/short-term disability insurance · Quarterly appreciation gifts and online lending library   Implement individualized treatment plans for students ages 3 and up, following goals outlined in their IEPs or care plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist • Provide direct, hands-on therapy to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development • Track and document student performance, progress, and response to interventions during therapy sessions • Assist the Occupational Therapist with data collection, observations, and input for evaluations and progress reports • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in alignment with district and regulatory requirements   Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state where services are delivered, or eligibility to obtain such licensure • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
