Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist
to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a high-volume, academic inpatient setting focused on labor and delivery, obstetric triage, and inpatient gynecologic care, with robust support from subspecialty services and a strong educational mission. About the Department Our department provides full-scope OB-GYN services and includes: *

Diverse patient population, including complex maternal and fetal co-morbidities
Comprehensive multidisciplinary support including MFM, OB anesthesia, neonatology, nursing, and ancillary services
Key Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical care, including labor and delivery coverage * Manage obstetric emergencies and high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams * Provide inpatient gynecologic consultation and urgent/emergent gynecologic care, as applicable * Supervise and teach OB-GYN residents and medical students on Labor & Delivery and inpatient services * Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and protocol development * Support continuity of care through collaboration with outpatient providers Schedule & Call Structure * Hospitalist, shift-based model of 7-24 hour shifts monthly (may be completed as 24 hour or split into day and night shifts) * No outpatient clinic responsibilities * Coverage includes day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as part of a shared schedule Academic Responsibilities * Active engagement in resident and medical student education * Participation in simulation training and interdisciplinary teaching * Opportunities for involvement in quality improvement, education, and clinical research * Academic appointment with rank commensurate with experience Qualifications * MD or DO from an accredited medical school * Eligible for or currently licensed in New York State * Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, board certified preferred * Strong clinical skills in inpatient obstetrics and obstetric emergency management * Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based academic environment * Interest in teaching and academic medicine along with quality improvement and simulation initiatives What We Offer * Competitive guaranteed salary with performance incentives * Academic appointment and opportunities for career advancement * Collaborative environment within a well-respected academic health system * Opportunity to develop an academic OBGYN Hospitalist program We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including: Competitive base salary range $300,000-$350,000 depending on academic rank with additional incentive bonus opportunity

- Provide inpatient obstetrical care and labor & delivery coverage
- Supervise and teach residents and medical students on L&D and inpatient services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree
- Board-certified/eligible in OB-GYN
- Fellowship in MFM not required but preferred
