About the Role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine seeks a dynamic BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join the Women's Health Division at Staten Island University Hospital .

Founded in 1861, Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed, specialized teaching hospital located in New York City's fastest growing borough. We are a strong academic section in a tertiary care referral network with a busy ultrasound unit and high-risk practice serving a diverse population. Staten Island University Hospital performs approximately 3000 deliveries a year and has excellent perinatal quality measures including low C-section rates and low maternal morbidity. We have a level 3 nursery with a superb neonatology service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and fetal medicine care
  • Oversee high-risk pregnancies
  • Collaborate with neonatology and ultrasound teams

Qualifications

  • Board-certified/eligible in OB/GYN
  • Fellowship trained in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Experience in high-risk obstetrics
