Obgyn Generalist

A well-established and highly respected obstetrics and gynecology group in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking three generalist OB/GYN physicians to join their growing practice. The group currently consists of four OB/GYN physicians and three advanced practice providers, and operates out of multiple office locations, though new physicians will work out of a single office. The practice is situated in one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, offering an exceptional quality of life with easy access to major metropolitan areas, mountain recreation, and outdoor activities.

The affiliated hospital is a full-service facility featuring a Level III nursery with all services in-house, including anesthesia and neonatal care, as well as visiting subspecialty oncology coverage. Because the hospital maintains in-house laborist coverage, physicians are not required to take OB call or perform deliveries. However, physicians who wish to do so have the option to participate in deliveries and receive a portion of the delivery fee, offering a meaningful opportunity to increase income. The group previously averaged 10 to 12 deliveries per month per physician.

This is an active surgical practice with a strong focus on minimally invasive surgery, including robotics, laparoscopy, and all major GYN surgical procedures. The group performs approximately eight robotic cases per week, with physicians scrubbing together in a collaborative environment. Office-based gynecology is also robust, encompassing colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, gynecologic ultrasound, hysteroscopy, LEEP, D&C, cystoscopy, and more. The group is deeply committed to mentorship and provides opportunities for leadership and growth within the practice.

Call is lifestyle-friendly, averaging once per week and taken from home. The position includes a guaranteed salary starting in the $400,000 range, commensurate with experience, with annual increases over a four-year contract term.
