Obgyn Generalist

Stratton Group Detroit, Michigan, US

About the Role

This established obstetrics and gynecology practice has been a trusted name in women's health for over 35 years, serving the Detroit metro area with a commitment to clinical excellence. Physician-led and continuously growing, the practice is now seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join their team, including 2026 and 2027 graduating residents.

Physicians are supported by a robust team of 12 physicians, six advanced practice providers, and highly trained clinical staff, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. The practice offers a balanced OB/GYN split (50/50), a double-coverage model, and a structured mentorship program designed to support long-term professional growth. Surgical development is a priority, with dedicated OR block time, access to robotic surgery, and experienced colleagues available for guidance.

The schedule is designed with sustainability in mind: three to four office days per week plus surgery, one weekday 24-hour call with a post-call day off, and a 1:6 weekend OB call rotation shared with midwives. Clinical facilities include Level II and III NICUs, Maternal Fetal Medicine on campus, and a full range of advanced in-office procedures such as NSTs, ultrasounds, hysteroscopies, cystometrograms, sonohysterograms, 3D mammograms, and more.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary with uncapped productivity bonuses, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a clear path to partnership. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid maternity leave, a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, CME reimbursement, and full coverage of licensing, credentialing, and malpractice insurance.

The ideal candidate holds board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology, is completing or has completed an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency, and is passionate about patient-centered, collaborative care within a thriving, physician-led practice.
