Role Responsibilities: OB/GYN Hospitalists provide comprehensive inpatient care, including: Managing emergent OB patients regardless of circumstance

Labor management and vaginal/operative deliveries

OB triage evaluation and treatment

Surgical procedures and surgical assists

ED consultations

Postpartum care

Care of unassigned patients

Supporting private practice OB/GYNs

Educating and supporting nursing staff

Participating in resident and medical student education

Emergency drills, simulations, and quality initiatives

Developing best practices and participating in clinical trials

Facilitating daily interdisciplinary board rounds to enhance patient safety
