Location Queens, New York Shift Evening (United States of America) Description Nursing Attendant - Part Time Evening At NewYork‑Presbyterian, certified nurse’s aides thrive at the bedside as invaluable care providers. Provide comfort and caring as a certified nurse’s aide at NYP, keeping our fast‑paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care. This is a Part Time Evening (23 hrs/wk; 3pm - 11pm) shift position at NYP/Queens Hospital. Every weekend may be required for the first 2 years of employment. All roles require on‑site presence. Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses. Required Criteria Previous nurse’s aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum BLS from AHA HS Diploma/GED Must be able to complete mandatory 2 week orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.
