Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Aventura, Florida. Specialty: CT Technologist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Shift: 10 hours ~ Employment Type: Travel Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Aventura, FL. You will accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and expertly operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. The unit uses GE imaging systems and documents in Meditech. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT. Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience. Experience with GE CT equipment preferred. Experience performing CT scans, body imaging, MRI basics, X-rays, and fluoroscopy support. Strong communication, medical/anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude. Shift Hours: 2000–0630. Shift Days: Nights. Department uses all GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR. Night team staffing typically includes a charge RN, on-call team, and 3–4 technologists depending on volume. As a health professional with this staffing organization, you will support patient care in a certified comprehensive stroke center that holds American Heart association recognition. The department recently added a 1.2 million state-of-the-art CT scanner. You will collaborate with radiologists, MRI techs, ultrasound techs, and a multidisciplinary team to produce diagnostic images used in acute and routine care.
