Our primary mission is to support our clients in every aspect of the design and delivery of the compensation, benefits, pension and health management programs they maintain. Our team is seeking a Senior Data Conversion Lead who will work as part of a team to transform complex Health and Welfare (H&W) legacy data into seamless, modern solutions that impact millions of lives. As our Senior Data Conversion Lead, you will be creating and running H&W data conversion activities through SQL scripting and system tools. You will be a strategic force behind client H&W data integrations—bridging the gap between what was and what is possible. Working collaboratively with clients, you'll translate their unique needs into actionable solutions, champion process innovations, and serve as the trusted expert when stakes are high and timelines are tight. True work‑life integration – 100% remote from anywhere in the U.S. with only occasional travel when it makes sense Solve complex challenges – Work on large‑scale conversions for a business managing retirement benefits and pension administration for 9 million members across North America Balance big‑picture planning with technical execution, ensuring you're always learning and growing Serve as the primary escalation point, building your reputation as the problem‑solver teams rely on Grow your niche expertise – Deepen specialized knowledge in Health and Welfare as well as pension and benefits administration—a stable, high‑demand field Competitive total rewards – Customize your benefits package to fit your life, backed by compensation that reflects your value What You’ll Do Strategic Leadership Drive innovation – Identify opportunities to enhance our conversion processes and champion improvements that benefit clients and internal teams Navigate complexity – Make confident decisions even when facing ambiguity, balancing risk with opportunity Client Partnership Facilitate data conversion workshops and client meetings, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights Explain TELUS Health’s data structures and business rules in ways that empower clients to make informed decisions Serve as the primary point of contact for data‑related challenges, coordinating swift resolutions across teams Technical Excellence Create and run conversion activities (through SQL scripting and system tools). Review data conversions with a meticulous eye, identifying gaps and implementing solutions before they become issues Partner with Data Managers and client resources to focus on high‑priority work that delivers maximum value Provide timely, transparent progress updates and risk assessments with proactive mitigation plans Collaboration & Influence Coordinate seamlessly with internal collaborators, subject matter experts, and project managers throughout implementation Share your expertise with client teams and TELUS Health colleagues, elevating everyone's capabilities Capture action items, decisions, and escalations to keep all stakeholders aligned and informed A Bit About Us We’re a people‑focused, customer‑first, purpose‑driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
