Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Network Engineer to join our team in Charlotte. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network systems
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Support installation and configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls
• Help ensure network security and compliance with company standards
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to support business operations
• Participate in network upgrades and optimization projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux basics)
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or hands-on lab experience in networking
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark or network monitoring software
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of network security principles
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA (in progress or completed)
