Medical Technologist
About the Role
POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Tech/MT/MLT/CLS/CLT is responsible for:
• Performing the lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performing venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Department patients, and Outpatients as required.
• Performing Preventive Maintenance and other Quality Assurance Activities to promote continuing excellence within the laboratory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: MLT/CLT – Associate in Applied Science Degree with MLT/CLT, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization (ASCP preferred).
MT/CLS - Bachelors of Science degree with MT/CLS or the equivalent in education, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization (ASCP preferred).
Experience: Prior Medical Technology experience preferred
