Medical (physiotherapist)

Eastside Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing advanced rehabilitation care to patients recovering from illness, injury, and complex medical conditions. In this role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to help patients restore mobility, improve functional independence, and enhance overall quality of life. Working with a diverse caseload that may include orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, and medically complex patients, you will employ therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and appropriate modalities to achieve measurable outcomes. As a key member of a compassionate, patient-centered care team, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic, goal-oriented care. You will educate patients and their families on safe mobility techniques, home exercise programs, and the use of assistive devices, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery. Accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record, adherence to hospital and regulatory standards, and a strong commitment to safety and infection control are essential aspects of this position.
