As a Patient Services Representative, you are the connection point between patients, providers, clinical teams, and billing. You turn what can feel like a complicated healthcare experience into something organized, welcoming, and easy to navigate. From scheduling appointments to answering questions and coordinating with insurance, you guide each visit with confidence while making patients feel cared for every step of the way.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • $16.00-$18.00 (wage is based on knowledge, skills, and experience)
  • 6.5 paid holidays each year

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Welcome patients with a warm and professional approach
  • Answer calls, schedule appointments, and keep communication flowing smoothly
  • Guide patients through questions about billing, procedures, policies, and services
  • Prepare charts ahead of appointments and ensure everything is ready for a seamless visit
  • Manage check out by verifying information, collecting payments, and completing accurate documentation
  • Handle insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals with attention to detail
  • Keep records organized and up to date within the electronic health system
  • Complete end of day responsibilities including balancing transactions and preparing reports
  • Stay aware of patient flow and communicate delays clearly and calmly
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment
  • Support the team with additional responsibilities as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a medical office or familiarity with coding and billing is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to help people feel at ease
  • A knack for staying organized and handling multiple tasks with confidence

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role involves frequent communication and coordination throughout the day in a primarily seated setting. Attention to detail and accuracy are key to ensuring every patient interaction and record is handled with care.
