The Counseling Center of Bristol Health is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist with experience in caring for older adults to join our outpatient program. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, specialized mental health care to adults and an aging population within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. It’s a meaningful opportunity to support and enhance the well-being of older members of our community.
Our treatment approach includes medication management, as well as individual, group, and family therapy. We offer partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs on-site to support patients who require higher levels of care. For those needing inpatient treatment, we work closely with Bristol Hospital’s Emergency Department, Crisis Social Workers, and Physicians to ensure smooth and coordinated transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric care for adults and older adults
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in mental health care
  • Coordinate care with inpatient services as needed

Qualifications

  • Board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist
  • Experience treating older adults
  • Experience with medication management and psychotherapy (individual, group, family)
