LCRH is a 295-bed acute care facility, providing healthcare services for an 11-county service area in south central Kentucky.   Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with. applicable scope and standards of practice across multiple inpatient units. Demonstrates flexibility to float where needed and collaborate with interprofessional teams to support safe, high-quality care. Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care. Documents care provided in a timely, accurate manner. Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation). Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support). Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Participates in performance improvement and required education; works other shifts/units as needed and may take on-call assignments. Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Qualifications

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • CPR/ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience (float pool or acute care)
