Together, we can solve the problems others dont, wont or cant./pulliGreet and check in patients at the health care centers by verifying coverage and eligibility and completing appropriate paperwork./liliObtains the patient history, takes vital signs, and assists with coordination of care./liliAdministers medications/liliPrepares examination room/liliCleans and sterilizes instrument per protocol/liliAnswer telephone in compliance with departmental procedures. Ascertain nature of call and route appropriately. If necessary, take accurate and legible messages./liliSchedule appointments and verify membership according to various benefit coverage/liliReviews preprinted instruction sheets with patients/liliAttends department Staff Meetings and In-service programs/liliCross-trains to new procedures and departments./liliAssists in orienting new employees and temporary pool staff to job responsibilities./li/ulpThis position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation./ppWhat we expect from you :/pulliGraduate of approved MA program/liliCurrent BCLS required/liliAt least 1 or more years of front and back office experience/liliExperience answering phones and scheduling patients/liliPhlebotomy skills/liliSolid Computer skills including Electronic Health Records/liliExcellent customer service skills required/liliTeam oriented/liliStrong time management skills/liliResponsible and reliable/liliThe clinic hours are listed below.
