Position: Manager of M&A and Corporate Development
Location: Worcester or Norwell Massachusetts On site
Compensation: $150,000-$175,000 + Bonus

- The Opportunity: This is a highly visible role supporting the executive team and private equity sponsor, with direct exposure to acquisition strategy, deal execution, and post close integration. The Manager of M&A and Corporate Development will play a critical role in shaping the long term growth of the platform.
The Manager of M&A and Corporate Development’s Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the acquisition lifecycle including target evaluation, financial diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction execution.
- Manage diligence workstreams across finance, accounting, tax, and operations while coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Support development of investment materials including valuation models, investment memos, and presentations for executive leadership and ownership.
- Lead post acquisition integration planning and execution, partnering with finance, operations, IT, and HR to drive alignment and value creation.
- Track integration progress, synergies, and performance metrics to ensure acquisition objectives are achieved.
- Provide ongoing strategic and financial analysis to support leadership initiatives, lender reporting, and sponsor communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Four to seven plus years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or corporate development within a fast paced deal driven environment.
- Strong understanding of financial diligence, quality of earnings, valuation methodologies, and purchase accounting concepts.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to clearly communicate insights to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Preferred experience leading or supporting M&A within construction, specialty trades, or other project based services organizations.
