About the Role
Olympic Steel - 3000 Crane Center Drive - Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and improve machinery, equipment, and warehouse facility in a safe and timely manner; Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines; Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production; Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and warehouse facility as required; Participates and fulfills the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and improve machinery and equipment
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance mechanics
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance
- Troubleshooting skills in mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems
