This inpatient facility provides comprehensive psychiatric services for adults requiring acute mental health treatment in a structured hospital environment. The organization maintains established protocols and modern documentation systems to ensure effective psychiatric care delivery for patients with severe mental health conditions. The facility is part of an academic health system, combining patient care, research, and medical education with over 150 years of experience serving the surrounding community.

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients Monday through Friday during 8-hour day shifts with no call requirements. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for patients with severe mental health conditions including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and acute anxiety disorders. The clinician will manage 12-16 patients per day with census levels of 80-85% capacity and collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective care delivery for patients with an average length of stay of 7-10 days.
