This behavioral health crisis stabilization facility provides 24/7 adult psychiatric services with 36 total beds for patients requiring acute mental health intervention. The facility maintains comprehensive crisis services including detox protocol management and operates with established support systems for interdisciplinary care coordination. The organization focuses on crisis intervention for adults experiencing acute psychiatric episodes including mood disorders, psychosis, suicidality, and substance use disorders with an average length of stay of 5-7 days.

This Georgia region offers diverse attractions including the Georgia Aquarium, historic districts, and outdoor recreational areas such as state parks and the 189-acre Piedmont Park with walking paths and green spaces. Visitors can explore mountain towns, participate in outdoor activities like hiking and rafting, or enjoy entertainment venues such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Six Flags Over Georgia. The psychiatrist will serve in a lead clinical and administrative leadership role providing comprehensive psychiatric care during day shifts with negotiable call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include providing consultation and support for crisis center staff and APRNs, overseeing medical staff scheduling, coverage, and hiring processes, and reviewing referrals to support the admissions process. The clinician will participate in teaching and training activities with medical students and APRNs while maintaining detox protocol oversight for the 36-bed crisis stabilization facility. The facility utilizes a facility DEA and pharmacy process, eliminating the need for individual DEA requirements.
