American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ years of experience for a 13-week contract at a hospital-based outpatient rehab facility in Boston, MA.
Details- Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation facility
- Schedule: Monday & Wednesday 10:30am–7:00pm; Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:00am–4:30pm
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- No weekends, no major holidays, and no on-call requirements
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Active MA PT license required if applicable
- Active BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required
- Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Must be self-directed, flexible, and a collaborative team player
- A driver's license is required for consideration
- Two professional references required, at least one of which must be from a manager-level or above (titles listed as 'supervisor' are not accepted); references must include a performance evaluation
- One reference must be dated within the last 12 months; the second may be within the last 3 years
- At least one reference from a prior travel or temporary assignment is preferred; references from other travelers are not accepted
- Scrubs or business casual attire accepted
- Candidates must reside 30+ miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
