Staff Litigation Support Analyst – Los Angeles or San José Apr 10, 2026 Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Litigation Support Analyst to join its Los Angeles or San José offices. This position supports attorneys and litigation teams throughout the litigation lifecycle by managing electronically stored information (ESI), litigation databases, review workflows, and legal technologies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, and thrives in a collaborative legal environment. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt, 7.5‑hour/day position. The arrangement is 2 days on‑site and 3 days from home per week upon satisfactory completion of the introductory period, with flexibility for business needs. It reports to the Litigation Support Supervisor. Description Provide technical and analytical support throughout the ESI lifecycle, including identification, collection, preservation, processing, review, archiving, and production of electronic data. Support document review workflows, uploads, productions, and search requests using platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull, DISCO, CloudNine, Everlaw, REVEAL, Quikdata, and similar tools. Prepare review‑ready datasets; configure databases; and manage user access, permissions, and credentials. Create, manage, and maintain litigation databases and case files, ensuring accurate indexing, coding, and organization. Coordinate with third‑party eDiscovery vendors on data processing and assist with complex searches, text‑message review, and cost‑effective solutions. Assist with website capture, video, and document editing/redaction using Adobe Acrobat Pro, FastRedaction.com, ClipCham, or comparable tools. Support secure file transfers, encryption, password protection, and other data security best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to litigation support and review platforms. Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, timelines, and presentations as needed. Ensure compliance with legal holds, chain‑of‑custody requirements, and internal documentation standards. Maintain clear documentation of workflows, procedures, data sources, and processing steps. Stay current on evolving litigation technology, eDiscovery tools, and industry best practices. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet case deadlines. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Legal Studies, or a related field; relevant equivalent experience will be considered. Previous experience working as a Paralegal is preferred, but not required. 3–5+ years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, legal technology, or a related role. Demonstrated working knowledge of common review and litigation support platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Logikcull). Solid understanding of the ESI lifecycle and discovery processes. Familiarity with secure file sharing tools, encryption methods, and litigation data security practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of tasks in a fast‑paced legal environment. Work independently and collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, IT, and vendors. Prior experience working in a law firm, legal department, or eDiscovery provider strongly preferred.
