Licensed Practical Nurse (lpn) Float Pool

About the Role

LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Float Pool LPN, you will provide direct, hands-on nursing care to patients across multiple units and clinical settings within our regional healthcare system in Maryland, supporting a comprehensive continuum of care that includes hospitals, specialty centers, and community health-related operations. In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. You will perform focused assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments within LPN scope, support care plan implementation, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns to the appropriate clinical staff. As part of the float pool, you will adapt to different patient populations and unit workflows, which may include medical-surgical, telemetry, post-surgical, step-down, and select specialty areas depending on your training and experience. You will contribute to admission and discharge processes, patient and family education, and thorough, timely documentation in the electronic health record.
