About the Role
Bethesda Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide direct, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, supporting physicians and registered nurses in delivering safe, evidence-based treatments. You will perform nursing assessments within LPN scope, administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitor and document patient conditions, and promptly report changes in status to the care team. Working in a fast-paced clinical environment, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate care plans that promote positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs and patient histories, assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures, supporting wound care and IV therapy as appropriate, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record. You will provide patient and family education on medications, procedures, and discharge instructions, always emphasizing compassion, cultural sensitivity, and respect.
