Legal Operations Analyst

About the Role

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented legal operations professional to support the in-house legal team and broader business functions, with responsibility for corporate governance and entity management frameworks. The role requires strong process discipline, data management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead entity formation and lifecycle maintenance for U.S. and foreign entities

• Own entity management processes, including corporate records, structure charts, filings, and organizational data

• Maintain governance infrastructure, including board calendars, consents, appointments, resignations, and ownership records

• Manage and improve tracking of recurring legal obligations and deliverables across the firm

• Facilitate NDA processes, including intake, execution, and recordkeeping

• Build, standardize, and enhance workflows, templates, and documentation practices

• Support invoice review and outside counsel billing processes, including budget tracking and spend management

• Identify, implement, and manage legal technology solutions and related workflow tools

• Assist with deal and investor closings, including document execution and file maintenance

• Assist with regulatory filings and notices

• Manage and respond to AML and KYC requests

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, fund paralegal work, or a similar role within a law firm, asset manager, or financial services organization

• Strong understanding of fund structures, investor workflows, and subscription processes

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a strong process-oriented mindset

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and demands

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

• Must be presently legally authorized to work in the United States for any U.S. employer

• This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in private investment environment, with exposure to transaction execution, fund operations, or investor servicing workflows

• Familiarity with fund structures and securities frameworks

• Experience driving the implementation and improvement of technology-enabled workflows and operational systems

• Experience managing data integrity, system integration, and process improvement efforts

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data reconciliation, tracking models, and reporting tools

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 USD. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related factors, including but not limited to education and skills, and is commensurate with experience. Additional compensation and benefits include a discretionary bonus, healthcare plan, 401(k) matching program, and flexible paid time off.
