SpartanNash - 899 East Jefferson Street - Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day department operations in the absence of the department manager and ensure staff are trained and the department meets company goals and KPIs; Manage inventory ordering and control, including proper markdowns to minimize loss and ensure freshness; Review and validate received orders for quantity, quality, and weight; ensure proper storage; Supervise stocking, production, and tasks to maintain product quality, rotation, and handling spoiled/damaged items; Assist with scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll expense; participate in huddles and meetings
