In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice within the Governance and Transactions Practice Group, significantly impacting corporate governance and transactional endeavors. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of legal professionals dedicated to advancing the organization’s interests while ensuring compliance with regulations. As a crucial member of the legal department, you’ll help mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiencies through your expertise, fostering an ethical and responsible workplace culture. Your contributions will directly influence the performance and governance of the enterprise as a whole. Accountabilities Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and broader legal teams. Execute legal projects with moderate independence under senior oversight. Support and mentor junior team members and legal staff. Analyze legal and regulatory risks, offering practical solutions. Deliver impactful legal advice while safeguarding enterprise interests. Contribute to strategic imperatives as guided by senior leadership. Manage and assess outside legal counsel performance. Assist in the management of the legal budget and expenditures. Ensure adherence to the enterprise Code of Conduct. Requirements Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state. 3-6 years of experience in corporate/transactional law. Familiarity with health law preferred. Strong ability to analyze and negotiate legal documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in legal risk assessment and mitigation.
