Junior Telecom Engineer
About the Role
A company is looking for a Junior Telecom Engineer to support telecommunications systems for electric utility operations. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications systems Support communication infrastructure for SCADA, substations, and control centers Participate in network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Required Qualifications and Education Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Basic understanding of telecommunications systems and networking concepts Internship or co-op experience in telecommunications or related field preferred Familiarity with fiber optic systems or RF communications is a plus Exposure to AutoCAD or GIS systems is beneficial
