General Summary:
Responsible for waste removal, recycling, and sanitation services for all Lehigh Valley Facilities.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Continuous sanitizing and disinfecting of all Crayola facilities; including high touch points, caf tables/chairs, restrooms (showers, sinks/faucets, toilets, urinals, counters, mirrors, partitions and vents).
- Responsible for the removal of all waste from Crayola facilities
- Clean and finish all floor surfaces including dry/wet mopping, and vacuuming. Wipe down furniture, including walls and high dusting and accessible internal and external windows and office equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining safe walkways and paths during inclement weather.
- Must be flexible in order to train Crayola employees on the recycling and landfill free programs as needed and participate in team problem solving to maintain and enhance our environmental sustainability efforts.
- Complies with federal and state Hazardous Waste regulations including proper handling, storing, labeling, and familiarity with Crayola's Emergency Action Procedure in the event of a spill or leak
Job Specifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible to work at other facilities or different shifts
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Must successfully complete Company Blood Born Pathogen training.
