About the Role
The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an IT Portfolio Manager. The position is NOT REMOTE and scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

We are responsible for the management, security, maintenance and operations of the city's technology infrastructure, including enterprise networks, multiple data centers, cloud-based solutions, SaaS solutions, employee workstations, smart devices, and applications. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to Implement and maintain the city-wide technology portfolio by establishing a multi-year roadmap, overseeing program/project governance, transparently supporting prioritization, innovating funding workflow, directly managing staff and optimizing resource utilization.

Minimum qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; and
- 8 years of recent, progressively responsible experience in support of computer infrastructure, including
- 3 years of experience overseeing projects; and
- a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
- any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
