Electrical Engineer - Brushless DC Motors - 1688 - NJ
There are two open positions: One Associate EE and a Sr. Manager position.
Relocation available
Job Description- The Electrical Engineer will design and modify torque tool systems including brushless DC motors.
- They should be comfortable seeing a project from initial brainstorming, testing, analysis, design, and hands-on prototyping, to final delivery and documentation.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer designing and testing Brushless DC motors
Experience with AC-DC power supplies (85 - 250Vac 50/60Hz)
Experience with digital and analog circuit design
Experience with new product development and testing from concept to manufacturing
Knowledge of various drive strategies such as trapezoidal and sine
BS in Electrical Engineering
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with industrial electric torque tools
Experience with thermal, reliability, and electro-magnetic interference testing & analysis
Experience with schematic design and PCB layout (Altium is preferred)
Experience with microcontroller programming
Experiencewith Code Composer tools and TI processors
