This facility operates as a 266-bed Level II trauma center featuring 32 cardiovascular ICU beds and comprehensive cardiac services. The hospital maintains modern cardiac catheterization laboratories and utilizes EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination with dedicated nursing staff and advanced procedural capabilities for complex interventional cardiology cases.

Kentucky offers diverse attractions ranging from underground cave systems like the Louisville Mega Cavern and Mammoth Cave National Park to outdoor recreational areas such as Red River Gorge. The state features bourbon distilleries, horse-related attractions including Churchill Downs, and family-friendly activities like river cruises departing from nearby cities. Visitors can explore various caverns and caves throughout the region while enjoying outdoor activities in natural settings.

The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care including cardiac catheterizations, cardioversions, and echocardiographic studies while maintaining 24-hour call coverage with 12-hour onsite presence. The position requires collaboration with cardiac surgeons for TAVR and Watchman procedures and managing both inpatient and clinic responsibilities. The clinician will utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and must maintain board certification in Interventional Cardiology with minimum 5 years experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
