Job Responsibilities:
- Drives critical infrastructure improvements to support operations and ensure maximum uptime
- Acts as IT support liaison between local IT and BU/corporate IT groups - addressing and solving issues spanning multiple different technical areas.
- Example: Database/Server/Network operations troubleshooting
- Monitors backup of critical systems
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, 2D cameras, printers, and scanners
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT managed systems, including critical infrastructure systems.
- Monitors shop floor and business computer health to proactively identify failing hardware
- Participates in an on-call rotation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems from an accredited institution OR 5 years of work experience in installing and configuring computer hardware and software and troubleshooting technical issues with IT systems OR an Associate's Degree and two years of work experience in installing and configuring computer hardware and software and troubleshooting technical issues with IT systems. Work experience must also include critical infrastructure improvements.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
