Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager:
  • Lead full‑cycle recruiting, including job postings, resume review, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Partner with leadership to develop hiring strategies and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Manage accurate and timely payroll for multiple associations
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters
  • Provide guidance on workplace issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain confidential and compliant employee records
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate return‑to‑work programs
  • Administer leave programs such as FMLA and ADA
  • Partner with legal counsel on HR‑related matters as needed
Preferred Qualifications for the HR Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5–7+ years of HR experience, ideally supporting multiple companies or associations
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, payroll, benefits, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving skills
