Stonebridge at Montgomery is a Springpoint Senior Living community located in Skillman, NJ. We are looking for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Director of Housekeeping and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department and for ensuring that the community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing the annual budget and plan for the overall task accomplishment of the Housekeeping Department for supplies, equipment and labor.
- Maintain records and schedules, initiate work assignments and time spent on tasks.
- Responsible for maintaining the community's clean and orderly appearance at all times in order to entice prospective residents to desire to live at the community.
- Ensure that all personnel performing tasks that involve potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or hazardous chemicals participate in appropriate in-service training programs prior to performing such tasks.
- Review and understand policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook and Human Resources Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff.
- Coordinate housekeeping services and activities with other related departments (dietary, nursing, etc.).
- Monitor absenteeism to ensure that an adequate number of housekeeping personnel are on duty at all times.
- Assure that all community residents, employees and visitors follow the established safety and fire regulations including the Right to Know Act.
- Ensure that adequate supplies and equipment are maintained to meet the daily needs of the community and residents.
- Assure that residents are treated equally and within the guidelines of Civil Rights. Maintain the confidentiality of resident information.
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in the hospitality and/or housekeeping industry required
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM
