Housekeeping Supervisor

Inspect facilities for cleanliness, completed work, and maintenance needs.

Supervise custodial staff during shifts and monitor overall performance.

Plan, assign, and oversee daily cleaning tasks and minor projects.

Enforce department policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Maintain and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Prepare reports on work activities and operational needs.

Support hiring efforts, including assisting with interviews and staff selection.

Partner with management to ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling.

Assist with budgeting for staff, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Perform hands-on custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking, and maintaining facility standards.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

25 years of custodial/housekeeping experience.

25 years of supervisory experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices.

Proven ability to lead, train, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems such as ADP.

Ability to build positive working relationships with team members and guests.

Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a busy environment.

Willingness to learn and follow company policies, procedures, and state regulations.

Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license.
