Housekeeping

Cleaning all areas of the Community by performing daily cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, restrooms and offices. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to push/pull housekeeping cart, vacuum and carpet cleaner Professional positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to embrace the mission and culture of the organization Responsibilities: Performs daily cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices in a clean and sanitary manner and in compliance with all federal and state regulations. Performs terminal/detailed cleaning of residents' apartments. Cleans and maintains carpet and other floor types. Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area. Performs high and low dusting. Ability to determine and utilize the appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies. Follows all infection control practices/standard precautions. Observes safety precautions at all times and reports safety hazards as appropriate. Replenishes supplies. Uses and maintains equipment properly. Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner. Always introduces self to residents, families and visitors. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
