Northwell Health's Department of Cardiology is seeking a
highly motivated and skilled Fellowship-trained Heart Failure Cardiologist
to join our team in a unique
combined academic position
spanning two premier Northwell campuses - with a primary affiliation at
Staten Island University Hospital
& opportunities for transplant and LVAD management at
North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset
. This dual-site role offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver advanced heart failure care across the full spectrum of disease complexity, from outpatient GDMT optimization to advanced surgical therapies including
LVAD implantation and heart transplantation
. This is a
full-time, academic position
with vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist with advanced heart failure and transplant training, demonstrated expertise in GDMT optimization and complex hemodynamics, experience coordinating advanced therapies (LVAD/transplant) within a multidisciplinary heart team, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care, education, and program-building. To make the transition as smooth as possible, you will have partners who have a wealth of experience in all the specialty areas of cardiology. There is a true camaraderie within the group.
