About the Role
Carle 60;Health is seeking an additional 60; BE/BC GI Hospitalist 60; to join our Gastroenterology Department in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details:
- PRN position
- Join a team of 2 GI Hospitalists, 7 Outpatient Gastroenterologists, and 12 APPs
- Carle Foundation Hospital and the Carle Cancer 60;Institute are adjacent to the Digestive Health Center
- 7 on 7 off schedule
- Call is split with other GI Hospitalists
- 5 APPs assist with inpatient rounding
- Ability to perform outpatient procedures in a new state-of-the-art, 10-suite Digestive Health Center
- Dedicated Interventional GI support
- Enjoy individual clinical autonomy combined with the efficiency of a financially-sound and innovative multispecialty group practice
- Carle participates in digestive clinical trials and is one of six facilities in IL to perform double balloon enteroscopies
- Excellent and experienced nursing staff
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, 60;the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $166.67 - $166.67/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
