General Pediatricians - Clinical Associates
Salary Range: $170,000 - $325,000 a year
The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Academic Pediatrics, is seeking full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years. Appointees will have strong primary care skills and possess excellent communication skills. Direct patient care responsibilities include managing patients with general and complex pediatric needs. Limited off-hours and occasional weekend coverage are expected. Primary clinical placement is anticipated to be at Comer Children’s Hospital and UChicago Flossmoor Clinics and may include other locations as needed. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent on qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
