The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping us continue to be the premier provider of radiologic services in Iowa by providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic information.
Responsibilities:
- Producing mammography screenings and diagnostic exams following established protocols and guidelines.
- Utilizing general x-ray, bone densitometry and mammography modalities to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate imaging findings.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques to provide optimal services to patients.
- Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification and a current Iowa permit to practice in general radiography is required.
- ARRT certification in mammography is a plus.
- Mammography experience preferred, but not required (training available)
- Excellent patient care and communication skills are essential
- Some lifting is involved with this position.
