Firmware Engineer

About the Role

Rhythm Express is seeking a firmware engineer to join our embedded systems team to develop, test, and implement C/C++ code on a real-time embedded IoT-enabled ARM Cortex-based system. This position will work alongside and collaborate closely with experienced engineers with expertise in hardware, cloud, cybersecurity, cellular communications, signal processing, Wi-Fi, BlueTooth, quality, and regulatory. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s (Masters preferred) degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field and enjoys learning and stepping into new challenges. A strong foundation in C/C++ programming, scripting languages such as Python, understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, WiFi), and real-time operating systems is highly desirable.
