Facilities Technician

Hartford Healthcare - - Responsibilities: Performs general preventive maintenance and repair of various areas around the facility; Completes work orders, documents appropriate information on completed work and/or documents the status of equipment in order to maintain appropriate records for regulatory agencies; Utilizes materials (wood, metal, concrete, plastics, composites) to fit and install glass windows, pictures, ceiling tiles, perimeter rail systems, wood trim and moldings, medical hardware stations, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and other projects; Performs general outside maintenance (mowing lawns, weeding, raking leaves, trimming bushes, snow removal and ice control tasks); Perform minor plumbing repairs and replacements of faucets, toilets and flush valves
