Facilities Technician 3

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician 3

Location:Swartz Creek, Michigan

What's the Job?

• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Perform maintenance on kitchen equipment such as meat grinders, cubers, meat saws, and slicers
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs and maintain lighting systems, bulbs, and ballasts
• Complete Fuel Center UST inspections and dispenser maintenance
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment like scanners, printers, scales, networks, and UPS systems

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid state driver's license
• At least one (1) year of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work
• Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening processes
