Erp Project Manager

Encore Talent Solutions has partnered with a client in the Cincinnati, OH area to identify an ERP Project Manager on a 3 month contract to hire. The expectation to this role is to convert to the client. This role is situated in the greater Cincinnati, OH area and targeting candidates that are open to remote with occasional onsite work for critical activities, etc.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with ERP experience to drive critical initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, less structured environment and can successfully lead projects without relying on rigid PMO frameworks.

You will partner closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to move projects forward, navigate challenges, and deliver results. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong intent to convert to a full-time employee based on performance and cultural alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ERP-related projects (SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms)
• Collaborate with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to define priorities and drive execution
• Identify risks, dependencies, and challenges—and proactively work through them
• Keep projects moving forward in a dynamic environment without heavy reliance on formal PMO processes
• Facilitate communication across stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and overall project health
• Provide practical solutions and make decisions that keep initiatives on track

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing ERP implementations or enhancements (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
• Strong ability to work directly with executives and senior business stakeholders
• Demonstrated success delivering projects in less structured, fast-moving environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in organizations without a formal or mature PMO structure
• Background in driving organizational change or transformation initiatives
• Experience transitioning from contract to xywuqvp full-time roles
